David Vance has been exploring the transformational power of movement for over three decades and along the way discovered how self-care isn’t just for women, but rather that it can have a powerful and positive impact in men’s lives. He has trained in taekwondo (World Taekwondo 2nd dan black belt) and other martial arts since his youth and attributes much of his success in his corporate career as well as his supportive parenting style to the teachings of these martial arts. Yoga complements his combat training by providing rejuvenation for the mind, body, and spirit, and he received his Registered Yoga Teacher certification (RYT-200) through CorePower Yoga. He shares his power vinyasa yoga practice with his students in the Atlanta area.

One of David’s areas of focus is stress management. He suffered for many years with severe Crohn’s Disease and has experienced the painful, destructive effects of stress on the body and mind. His quest for relief led him to practice meditation daily and he became a Certified Meditation Instructor (C.MI.) from the University of Holistic Theology. He infuses self-care into his meditation practices as he shares the benefits of stress relief and mental acuity with newcomers and experienced meditators alike.
